Collaborates with agencies, non-profits, local businesses, and coalitions to create a safe, interconnected network of land and water trails that promotes healthier living and fosters community pride in Washington, D.C.'s Wards 7 and 8. We focus on serving the area's high percentage of children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities get onto trails, into parks, and connected to the Anacostia River. Through community walks, bike rides, cleanups, and educational events, we create opportunities for residents to experience nature, build relationships, and strengthen community ties.
